How do I get music into Power Music Lite?

PMzips – The new way to get music.

Many people are used to downloading songs as PDF files or Scorch files. What you get with these download files is simply the music.
The NEW Power Music zip format is MUCH, MUCH MORE than just the sheet music or chord sheets.

A PMzip file can contain any number of songs and for each song in the PMzip the following information can be stored –

• all the pages of sheet music for the song
• all the chord sheet for the song in a transposable form which can have capo chords added if required
• all the lyrics of the song *
• multiple titles for the song *
• all the authors and song writers *
• all the categories for the song *
• Bible verses relating to the song *
• the song melody (in Cambron’s unique format) *
• the tempo of the song
• copyright information *
• performance notes

All the information marked * is fully searchable and indexed in Power Music. In a couple of seconds you can find any piece of music and have it on display ready to play.
PMzips are imported DIRECTLY into Power Music 4 or Power Music Lite and all the information is immediately available – no additional typing is required!
PMzips are available for download from Cambron’s website and music publisher’s websites.

PMzips can also be created by any Power Music 4 user and used to transfer songs between Power Music users, for example between band members (copyright conditions must be observed).

PMzip is a new file format created by Cambron Software. The availability of PMzips will increase as more publishers make this format available for their sheet music and chord sheets.

PLEASE NOTE: You must adhere to the copyright owners' terms and conditions. All PMzips on our website are supplied with permission for use with Power Music 4 or Power Music Lite.

Power Music Lite is completely free of charge and has all the features of Power Music 4 apart from the following restrictions:

• The only way to add a song is to import from a PMzip
• You cannot edit the songs
• No export
